Higher Grounds is a drop-in youth center, open to 13-19 year olds on Fridays from 7-11pm.  Higher Grounds began as Belly of the Whale in downtown Greeley in 1991. Through partnerships between Northern Colorado Youth for Christ and local churches, Higher Grounds was born to provide a safe place for teenagers to hang out and spend time with caring adults. Through the years, Higher Grounds has been an important part of the youth culture in the Greeley area – as tens of thousands of youth have come through its doors. 

Higher Grounds maintains a commitment to helping young people through volatile teenage years. This is accomplished through not just talking about God, but showing the love of Christ to teenagers.
